About Me

As an authorized Civil Celebrant and member of the Association of Marriage Celebrants, I was professionally trained in 2005, and have been a Justice of the Peace since 1990.

I have a background in office administration, public speaking and I am a Life Member of Shire Music Theatre, which is a prominent Community Theatre Group in the Sutherland Shire.

If you decide to choose me as your celebrant, You will both be required to bring your original birth certificates, or if you are from an overseas country your current Passport. If you’ve been divorced you will need your decree absolute, and if you are a widow or widower the death certificate of your deceased spouse. If you have trouble assembling these documents let me know as I may be of assistance to advise you where to obtain copies or provide you with a statutory declaration.

In consultation with you and your family, my commitment is to provide the following:

  • To deliver the highest quality and care to your requirements that you deserve.
  • An initial friendly and relaxed first meeting.
  • A Ceremony Guide and sample of readings and suggestions to make your ceremony as unique as you are.
  • Oversee that all legal documents are signed and completed in a timely manner before and after your marriage ceremony.
  • Submit all documents to the appropriate Government Departments.
  • Apply for your official Marriage Certificate on your behalf if you wish.
  • Provide a portable PA amplifier complete with microphones, and IPod outlet, suitable to play the music of your choice.
  • Provide a table, 2 chairs and decorative cloth suitable for the signing of the official documents and Marriage Certificate.
  • Marriage Certificate printed in decorative calligraphy font.
  • A keepsake presentation copy of the words of your ceremony.
  • Please remember this is your special day, and as your Celebrant we will combine to design the ceremony that you and your guests will remember
